    Second Chances

    What are they and how do we utilize them?  The definition of what they are greatly depends on the individual you ask.   If you ask someone who has come out of a relationship of almost any type, hoping to be able to rekindle the relationship with better circumstances and outcomes; a second chance is the ability to have a do-over.    On the other hand, if you ask someone coming out of a relationship of varying types and all they wish to do is move on; find another option and take a leap of faith on something totally new; that is also a second chance.     Conquering Fear

    This morning I found myself in the gym browsing social media when I came across the song Fear Is A Liar by Zach Williams.   The individual that shared the song took the time to ask those reading to make a point to reach out to people around them with a smile, a text, a phone call or a personal visit; you never know how these small acts can change a person’s life.  Take a moment to look the song up and listen to it, you won’t regret it.     Stay Humble and Kind

    Forgiveness

    “Forgiveness is giving up all hope of a better past.”  Jack Kornfield Logically we know that we cannot change the past.   Why then do we find ourselves trying to live in it, hoping and wishing it had happened or ended differently?  Our anger impairs our vision and we cannot see the need to replace the growing inferno inside of us with just simple peace.   Our exasperation fuels everything but the need to forgive.
